ABOUT
Join us at St Mary’s, a welcoming tennis club in Isleworth, West London, where you can enjoy playing on our high-quality real clay courts—one of the few ATP/WTA-approved surfaces. Founded in 1928, our club blends tradition with a passion for the game, offering affordable membership options and no court booking fees.

WHY ST. MARY'S
We have three clay courts, regularly maintained and kept in excellent condition.
Clay courts are a rare gem in Britain, famously featured at the French Open, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments. Playing on real clay encourages longer rallies, creative shot-making, and is more gentle on the body—perfect for longer, more enjoyable sessions on court.

Tennis Coaching
We provide coaching for players of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
Jo Hill leads our coaching program at St Mary’s Tennis Club, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience to the role. Jo is an LTA/PTR-qualified coach and a former county player, with an impressive LTA rating of 4.1.
She has a proven track record of developing juniors to county and regional standards and helping adults advance their skills in a fun, supportive, and productive environment.
court maintenance
Clay courts have to be well cared for. In dry weather the clay has to be watered before play, and in exceptionally hot weather after each set. Fortunately we have a pressurised watering system enabling members to water a court in just two minutes.
After each set the marks caused by the ball and players’ footprints require erasing with drag mats. It only takes about two minutes to sweep a court, and we do ask our members to do this after every set in order to maintain its quality.

venue hire
St Mary’s pavilion, with its surrounding green space, is available for private family events.
Our beautiful clay courts and green spaces create a relaxed, picturesque atmosphere, while the clubhouse provides all the amenities needed to host your event comfortably.
With options for outdoor games like table tennis and plenty of space for guests to socialize or enjoy the tennis matches, St Mary’s is the perfect venue to make your special occasion truly memorable.
